My name is Mike Kelly. I’m a Kitchener, Ontario-based non-practicing physicist and former Unix system administrator. These days, I spend most of my time doing web and software development, using tools like Drupal, Django, Python, and WordPress among others.
I’ve been interested in computers and technology for 25 years, starting with my first computer, a Texas Instruments TI-994/A with 16 K of memory. Back in the 80s and early 90s I ran several successful bulletin board systems. The experience I gained propelled me into a career in system administration, working for companies like Newbridge Networks, Mitel, and TransGaming Technologies.
